Description
i have absolutely no idea what the green fly is, but thats one of the little jumping spiders that hangs out. i was going outside and saw this first from the other side. little spider hung out for about 5 minutes and then headed off into the vines with its meal. i think the jumping spider is a male phidippus audax

Very cool, and you're correct on the species.
A young Daring Jumper (Phidippus Audax) with a Green Damselfly (possibly Ischnura posita).
One of the reasons they are called Daring or Bold Jumpers is their habit of grabbing prey bigger than themselves.
I saw one that had grabbed a moth MUCH bigger than itself...
The spider unbalanced the moth so it couldn't fly, but it still got bounced & dragged around for quite while before the moth finally succumbed to the venom.
